ITSM Academy Hosts IT Infrastructure Libraryä (ITILâ) Author

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — August 1, 2005 – ITSM Academy, Inc. announced today, together with Computer Associates, they are co-hosting a complimentary breakfast meeting featuring Mr. Brian Johnson.

Brian Johnson was part of the British government team that developed the standards for the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Johnson led the first successful government implementation of ITIL best practices as well as the first private sector example. He has authored numerous ITIL guidelines and publications, for a total of fifteen major titles.

With a team drawn from IT service providers and software publishers, Johnson is at work on the second ITIL Business Perspectives on IT volume. In this complimentary morning session Brian will discuss:

  • Keeping the Momentum Going
  • Key KPIs and Metrics in Measuring Value and Success
  • ROI of ITIL
  • ‘The Standards Maze’
  • Help Desk Mindset -vs- Service Desk Mindset

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at ITSM Academy’s Ft. Lauderdale Training Center and Thursday, September 8, 2005 at the Computer Associates Miami offices.
