ITSM Academy has been Chosen to Lead a Post-Conference Training Session at the upcoming itSMF USA National Conference & Expo.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — June 29, 2005 – ITSM Academy, Inc. is very proud to announce they have been chosen as one of only three training organizations to provide post-conference training at the itSMF USA’ 5th Annual Conference & Expo. This year’s Conference will be the Biggest and Best IT Service Management (ITSM) Conference ever, leveraging the explosive growth of both the itSMF USA’s membership and U.S. interest in ITIL.

ITSM Academy will be delivering one of their two-day workshops,Planning to Implement IT Service Management immediately following the close of the conference.

Class Dates: Wednesday, September 21, 2:30pm – 5:00pm
Thursday, September 22, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday, September 23, 8:00am – 1:00pm
Maximum Class: 20 Attendees
Cost: $995

Built on the OGC Planning to Implement Service Management book, this course is a response to frequent requests from Foundation students for more information on real life experience and practical guidance to implementing ITIL®. The primary object of the course is to develop a deeper understanding of ITSM and how to successfully deliver, participate in or support ITSM projects. This session bridges some of the gap between ITIL® Foundation and ITIL® Service Manager training.

“This is one of our more popular non certification classes,” said Jayne Groll, President of ITSM Academy.  “Once a student achieves their ITIL FoundationCertification, they are often now sure what their next training step should be.  While the knowledge gained in an ITIL Foundation course is invaluable, ITIL is not prescriptive.  Many of our students are tasked with leading IT Process Improvement Projects.  They come out of class ready for Practical instruction on how to get started down their path.  This Workshop is one of two ITSM Academy has developed specifically to fit this requirement, allowing our students a distinct advantage in meeting their goals.”
